The municipal term is crossed by Manubles, tributary of the river Jalón. It is between Bijuesca and Villalengua, it also has another river called Caraván (Caravantes), tributary of the river Manubles. In Torrijo de la Cañada there is a castle which keeps the village which is in its feet. In front of the village, in the other slope there are many caves that have been dug to build wine cellars. There are two excellent churches: Nuestra Señora del Hortal, of beautiful Gothic facade and built in 1500, and San Juan, with an elegant Renaissance facade, but with Gothic floor (1480). The town hall follows the model of Aragón of the XVI century (1582-1599) with its arches hold by columns. In front of it, the arch that gives Access to the bridge passing under a slender tower of bricks with small arches in its upper parts that belong to the wall and fortress enclosure.
